Why do we offer Accredited and Certified CPD?

MOSAIC is an accredited training centre, operating under commercial license number 697572 and officially registered in Ireland.

All Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes will be accredited by the International Certification and Quality Assessment (ICQA UK), in collaboration with our international partner, Cogniasal.

Accredited CPD (Continuing Professional Development) is considered more valuable than non-accredited CPD for several clear, practical reasons:

1. Quality Assurance

Accredited CPD is reviewed and approved by a recognised professional body or accrediting organisation. This means:

  • • The content meets defined standards
  • • It is relevant to the early years profession
  • • It has clear learning outcomes

Non-accredited CPD doesn’t go through this external validation, so quality can vary widely.

2. Professional Recognition

Accredited CPD is formally recognised by employers, regulators, and professional associations. This matters because:

  • • It often counts toward mandatory CPD requirements
  • • It strengthens your CV and professional credibility

3. Career Progression

Because accredited CPD is trusted and standardised:

  • • It can support promotions, chartership, or licensing
  • • It signals commitment to maintaining high professional standards

4. Accountability and Audit Trail

Accredited CPD provides:

  • • Certified certificates
  • • Verifiable records

5. Consistency Across the Early Years Profession

Accreditation helps ensure that early years professionals are developing:

  • • Comparable skills
  • • Up-to-date knowledge

Without accreditation, CPD can be inconsistent and harder to benchmark.
